Liothyronine is synthetic T3 thyroid hormone — an FDA-approved prescription drug (not a peptide), misused off-label as a fat-loss agent. Properly dosed and monitored it looks safe; the danger is dose-driven thyrotoxicosis from unsupervised overdose.
